CBSE CoE Organises Capacity-Building Workshop on National Curriculum Framework at DPS Bokaro
Bokaro: In alignment with the National Education Policy (NEP) 2020, Delhi Public School (DPS) Bokaro hosted a capacity-building workshop on the National Curriculum Framework (NCF) for the Foundational Stage on Saturday. Organised under the aegis of CBSE Patna’s Centre of Excellence (CoE), the workshop aimed to train educators for delivering high-quality, equitable education in early years.
Anuradha Singh, Principal, DAV Public School, Sector VI, led a powerful session stressing the vital role of teachers in nurturing children during their most formative years. She highlighted the modern dilemma where excessive academic expectations and digital distractions are depriving children of a natural childhood. She called on teachers to preserve that innocence while preparing students to become future leaders. Singh also shed light on the NIPUN Bharat Mission and five-fold developmental domains crucial for child development.
Pooja Singh, Senior Teacher at Holy Cross School, emphasized revamping teaching patterns and play-based methods. She said the NCF aims to shape India’s early education system with clear pedagogical principles and strategies for children up to 8 years of age.
Dr. A.S. Gangwar, Principal of DPS Bokaro, praised the initiative and encouraged teachers to implement these insights into their classrooms for meaningful learning outcomes.
This workshop marked a significant step toward bringing consistency and quality to foundational education across India.
